Hello all!

I had an account on the old site years ago - I think I originally learned of GDR from the allegro.cc forums. I got my start in development learning C++ game dev in high school and always loved reading everyone's dev logs and cool experiments. You guys were a bigger inspiration than you probably realized. Since then, I ended up getting a graphic design degree and settling down, but about 2 years ago made a career change to web development.

Things have finally come full circle and I'm taking a game development side project seriously, hoping to release something in a year or so, the specifics are still hazy.

Anyway, all of that to say, I'm really glad to see the forums still kickin', and I might pop in more often than every few years
