THE NEXT CHALLENGE STARTS NOW

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to use the emoji generator to make a micro-game based off of 4 randomly generated emoji. This compo should be vaguely Halloween-themed, although this is not strictly enforced.

RULES

1. GO HERE.
SELECT "Halloween 4x4x4" from the dropdown
Generate 4 emoji until something makes sense. The goal is to get weird so don't just sit there and reroll until you can make Mario.

2. Make a micro-game using the 4 emoji as your theme.

3. All targets are allowed. All libraries/engines are allowed. Get out there and get shit done.

4. Reusing code and assets is highly encouraged. Build on your successes and make your life easier.

5. Challenge ends in one month. (Nov 1st, Sunday)







EXAMPLE:




With this, I might make a game where people compete within a high-rise to swap apartments as fast as possible, or maybe have two moving services competing to move furniture between apartments within a time window.

Gonna go with that, this time. I'm thinking of a Humans-type game where you use a cat to lead human sacrifices to a giant demonic pumpkin.

Syn9 has jumped in on his entry, and I'm in the planning stages of mine.

Looks like we have at least 5 planned entries (Myself, Syn9, Rob, 0xDB, Sonrisu).
So far, so good. And we're right at two weeks away from Jam It In '23.

And, it's all over. What a great experience
We got at least four entries, with a fifth in progress. The jam was a success, and we now have a blueprint for future jams.
