Overall I've been underwhelmed by E3 (Nintendo's press conference is tomorrow so that might change), but I suppose I'm also not sure what I'm interested in anymore.
I have to say I was completely caught off-guard by the Metroid announcement. And a 2D-ish one, at that. Now it's time for Konami to pull their heads out of their asses and make another proper Castlevania...
Meanwhile, I'm happy to see how this turned out. I was expecting a remake, not an entirely different game.
E3 was a bit of a stinker this year, but a lot of good titles flew under the radar. And it's really crazy to see how much momentum the Switch has held.
Yeah, I'm tentatively excited for that one. What a strange twist for the series...
I also mentioned this one a while back, and started playing it today. It's an extremely well executed Symphony of the Night clone (at least so far). Supposedly it's a bit on the short side, but I'm only a few boss fights into the game.
Not the biggest fan of super tech environments I see here. Hope we will be spider grappling and super sliding in something overgrown or underground. I hope to see some Chozo too.
Generally super excited though. So very glad it’s generally the original formula. Very curious how the story arc will be closed. Seems like a hard thing to do and keep very old and relatively new fans happy.

Also.... Eden Ring!
Two of my favorites. It’s a good end of 2021/begin of 2022 for me in terms of games. :]
