Now here's a case of brutal minimalism. I enjoy seeing how old games got by with a combination of woefully low resolution, coupled with extremely limited colors. Certainly, some fared better than others.
Sauce: The Dark Crystal. Interestingly, this was a Sierra game (before they changed their name to Sierra).
