Updated ssl cert (whoops!) and am planning a total reboot of the 4X compo site, aaaaand I need to update the NoOP site with the latest release. But first I gotta get some fucking sleep.

Still letting my brain recover from an entire year grinding out a Revision entry. I have no desire to even turn my computer on right now.

I have some plans, for near future:
- Total revamp of 4x compo site, using the Publii blog framework (I'm using it for my blog and enjoying it).
- Getting back to regular updates over here, and starting some useful info-dump threads for devs.
- Polish and upgrades for the not-so-secret part of the demo.
- Maybe a little music disk, for my personal amusement.

But first I gotta get thru some hard core slacking.

Board updated to v3.3.11, and database and other backups were performed. This fixed a post-related bug that was preventing the browser from going back after a quick reply (and lord knows what else).

The new 4x site is live (well, sorta), but quite barren at the moment. I'm going to add in one compo per night until I'm all caught up, and then add in the javascript emoji generator. This site is based off the publii blogging platform, so it's desktop+mobile friendly, and supports all that stuff like resizing, tagging, obligatory hamburger menus for small screens, etc.

I like having a site that I don't have to hand-edit anymore.

Doing prep-work for the 4x live jam this October (JAM IT IN 2024).
Main goals this time around are getting proper streaming via Twitch, so we have working audio. I'd also like to get two windows streaming at the same time: first window is the 'jam cam' showing us eating cheetos and dancing to shitty russian techno, and a second window that anyone can screen share by hooking up to an HDMI cable (or whatever it ends up being). I'm also researching cams with better low-light performance.

That, and also setting up some times/dates for the kick-off, and closing demonstrations.

We are waiting to see how the hurricane turns out before we post the final live jam schedule. We *might* have to ixnay the first weekend if shit goes all wrong in FL.
